For the Sketches in Oil, I start by creating a sketch on a 12"x12" canvas. 

Then, I spray the drawing with a fixative before I continue 

to add glazes of oil paint. The result is a loose but lively oil painting. 

This is a great piece of art for those on a tighter budget.
