This painting is a portrait of a mature bull bison from the Gardiner area as it roamed the corridor of the Northern Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, casually grazing on horsetail grass. One of the last remaining free-range herds in North America, the Yellowstone Bison is an icon of the West and a symbol of the untamable power of the American spirit.

This peacock doesn't worry about that. He is so natural about “strutting his stuff” and celebrates his being in a confident way.
